Miley Cyrus’ engagement ring is one for the ages.
Cyrus, 33, showed off her sparkler from new fiancé Maxx Morando at the Avatar: Fire And Ash premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, December 1. Following her subtle announcement, which Page Six was first to confirm, Blue Nile’s VP of Merchandising Daniela Tarantino told Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 2, “This engagement ring is a chunky gold east-west bezel set ring,” which is “a modern and chic trend we are seeing in the bridal industry.”
Tarantino added, “We believe the ring is roughly a 4 [to] 5 carat modified cushion that costs around $300,000 to $450,000.”
Kristy Cullinane, the diamond jewelry expert and Co-Founder of Plum Diamonds, agreed that the diamond is “approximately 4 to 5 carats.”
“The estimated value of the ring would be $200,000+ for a mined diamond or $15,000 for a lab-grown diamond,” Cullinane added.
While showing off her rock of a ring, Cyrus also wore another diamond by Messika on her pointer finger, featuring a pear-shaped stone and a rectangular diamond connected on an embellished band. She further accessorized with a Messika diamond necklace and a double ring on her right hand.
She placed her left hand on Morando’s chest, sure to show off her engagement ring to her fans. Cyrus — who has been dating Morando since December 2021 — stunned in a black sequin gown by Gucci featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline, a fitted bodice that cascaded into a pleated mermaid skirt with a dramatic train.
Cyrus donned a full beat while getting her photograph taken, including dewy foundation, filled-in eyebrows and bronzed cheeks. Her eye makeup was complete with smokey shadow and black pigment in her waterline, as well as a touch of mascara. She completed her glam with glossy pink lips. Her caramel-highlighted hair was parted to the side and pushed back into a voluminous blowout.
Morando, 27, for his part, looked sharp in a black blazer and white dress shirt.
Cyrus isn’t the only star who has gotten an east-west engagement as of late. Zendaya debuted her unique engagement ring from Tom Holland at the 2025 Golden Globes in January.
Her Jessica McCormack ring features an east-west cushion-cut diamond set in a gold band with a bezel.
Verstelo Fine Jewelry’s vice president Lauren Grunstein estimated Zendaya’s ring to cost up to $500,000. (The couple started dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming.)
“Assuming it’s a very high-quality stone from a traditional retail store, it could be anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000 if the diamond is naturally-grown,” the company told Parade. If the ring was lab-grown, the ring could cost $20,000.
Dua Lipa also has a similar engagement ring to Cyrus. Her custom sparkler from Callum Turner, whom she’s been with since January 2024, features a round 2-carat diamond set in a thick, chunky gold band. The ring is estimated to cost $65,000 to $270,000, per People.
She confirmed her engagement in June 2025 while chatting with British Vogue. “Yeah, we’re engaged,” she said. “It’s very exciting.” She also shared that Turner, 35, asked her friends and sisters for help designing the ring.
“I’m obsessed with it,” Lipa, 30, gushed. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
