Katie Ginella is clarifying her comments about her supposedly meager Real Housewives of Orange County paycheck — and revealing details about how much she actually earned for season 19.

“We get paid for the episodes we’re on,” Katie, 41, exclusively told Us Weekly on Saturday, November 15, while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, claiming that she didn’t earn any income for the second half of the season. “I remember having a call and they said, ‘If somebody were to bring you back and say [they] want Katie to film, you could have filmed, but nobody did that.’”

She added, “You get paid for the episodes you’re on, so that really hurts. I put, like, my real work on hold to be filming, and so, I missed that on both paychecks.”

Ahead of the three-day fan convention, Katie made waves when she claimed to have only been paid $20,000 for the latest episodes, which allegedly wasn’t enough to cover travel expenses for the show. The Bravolebrity also took a step back from the show due to her fractured friendships with the other Housewives.

“I’m so grateful. I feel I was very hurt,” Katie recalled on Saturday. “I still am, by a lot of things, and I feel like I’ve owned and apologized for things I needed to and I’m just waiting on that back. I don’t think I will fully trust some of the people I trusted before ever again.”

Despite tension with her fellow RHOC stars, Katie recently started working toward reconciliation with Tamra Judge in particular.

“Tamra reached out to me the day after I was, kind of, paused [on] filming to check in on me and brought me back into film that one scene, which was really nice,” Katie told Us of Tamra, 58. “She was like, ‘You deserve to be here. We have to tell your story. You have to get it out.’ We’ve talked a lot since we’ve hung out and, I mean, it’s been an organic kind of growth of a friendship, and I’m very thankful for it.”

Katie, however, doesn’t know whether she will be asked back for the upcoming season 20.

“When I was on Watch What Happens, [Andy Cohen and I] talked a little because he knew what was coming,” Katie said, referring to the 57-year-old WWHL host and Housewives producer. “He said really kind things to me, I don’t know [if I’ll be back].”

If Katie does get a season 20 offer, she is fairly certain that she’d accept.

“I think so. I mean, if I have Vicki [Gunvalson] and Tamra and we have organic friendships, I think it’d be great,” Katie acknowledged, referring to Vicki’s RHOC return to the series after five years. “Vicki just got her orange back, which is so cool. Vicki and I are good, and our [significant others] are really dear friends. So, you never know [what could happen].”

According to Katie, most of her onscreen feuds were the result of “very petty, weird drama.”

“[That] isn’t that what we want on Housewives,” she stated, adding she has no regrets following the tell-all reunion. “I went into the reunion just telling myself, ‘Katie, say everything you need to say,’ because I got cut off kind of halfway through [the season], and I had nothing to lose. I just, kind of, just said what I needed to say.  …I feel good about what I said and how I acted and what I did, and that’s kind of all that matters to me.”
