Celine Dion Shares the Surprising Things She Keeps in Her Dior Bag, From Makeup and Dog Food to a Landline

Celine Dion’s purse is full of surprises.

Dion, 57, opened up about everything she keeps inside of her Dior Toujours tote bag, featuring black straps, a toile print and gold hardware. In the clip, which she shared via TikTok on Monday, January 12, Dion first pulled an accordion fan, explaining that it’s an essential because she lives in Las Vegas, where it’s consistently “hot.” Next, she took out a Ziploc bag of dog food for her pooch, who she gushed is only “two pounds.”

She then grabbed a container of Mentos mints and shalired a confession. “Sometimes … eesh,” she said while joking that her breath gets bad. She also has hand sanitizer, Byredo Blanche hand cream, which she praised for being one of her “favorites.”

Dion also doesn’t go anywhere without lipstick, and of course, a microphone. “Just in case something happens!” she explained. “People ask me to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ [and] I’m ready.” She then burst into song and shared that it takes “a lot of balls” to grab her microphone and “pretend” that she’s “on.”

Next, she pulled out an ID badge. “It takes a lot of courage to carry your own VIP freaking badge like this.” She added, “It’s because when I purchase stuff, [people ask], ‘Is it really you?’ … It happens to me a lot.”

Dion playfully explained that if someone doesn’t believe it’s really her, she takes out her “old phone,” which was a landline, and calls the police.

“I’m like, ‘OK. I’m gonna get you arrested. I’m calling 9-freaking-1-1 and I’m asking for help,” she hilariously said.

“Let’s just say…I’ve been known to carry a little more than just the essentials! Now tell me…what’s in YOUR bag? -Celine xx…,” she captioned the post. Her followers were quick to praise her in the comments section.

“She’s so effortlessly hilarious,” one gushed, while a second added, “This woman is an icon, a legend, a national treasure.” A third commented, “Ohhh so she’s a comedian, singing IS JUST A SIDE QUEST YALLLL😭.”

While sharing the contents of her purse, Dion wore a black hoodie with “Celine” embroidered across her chest. Underneath, she rocked a black turtleneck. Dion glammed up her look with a statement silver ring on one hand and more sparkly rings on her other hand. She also accessorized with a gleaming silver watch and diamond earrings.

For glam, Dion donned a full beat, including dewy skin, contoured cheeks and pink glossy lips, thanks to the lipstick she applied throughout the video. She completed her makeup with smokey eyeshadow blended to her crease and swept underneath her waterline, as well as long lashes. Her blonde hair was styled in a messy ponytail with strands falling out and framing her face.

Dion previously wore her “Celine” hoodie while dishing to fans that she’s going to revisit “great moments” throughout her life. “Starting soon, I’ll begin sharing some personal stories behind my music. What was going on in my life when we recorded them and also how you, my audience, helped shape what these songs became.”
