A U-Haul driver fatally plowed into a pedestrian near Queens College early Tuesday — before she and her female passenger reportedly fled barefoot from the scene, cops said.

The hit-and-run horror unfolded about 12:30 a.m. as the driver of the rental truck headed west on the Horace Harding Expressway and mounted a curb around Kissena Boulevard, NYPD officials said.

The vehicle fatally struck David Opiela, 56, and an overhead light pole, police said.

The U-Haul then struck another vehicle, cops said. Robert Mecea

It then drifted through the intersection and struck a Honda Accord driven by a 42-year-old man, police said.

The two barefoot woman ran off after the crash, according to several outlets.

The driver and passenger had not been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon.

Medics declared Opiela dead at the scene, while the Honda Accord driver was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
